Adora ELA was founded on the vision that children learn best through the playful exploration of the world around them. We believe children’s opportunities for play are so important for their development. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, play is essential to development because it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well being of children and youth, and is, important to healthy brain development. From infant tummy time, toddlers playing peek-a-boo and building block towers, to preschoolers pretending to rocket into outer space, child-directed play builds strength and dexterity, creativity, reasoning, problem-solving skills and self confidence. Our classrooms allow children to have experience with natural materials in both our indoor and outdoor environments. Our teachers plan activities utilizing indoor and outdoor spaces. We rotate materials frequently so children are able to continuously keep their senses engaged.
OUR ON-SITE NUTRITIONIST PREPARES MEALS THAT ARE NOT ONLY DELICIOUS, BUT ALSO NUTRITIOUS.
Our menu meets USDA standards for daily intake of fresh fruits and vegetables. We are a peanut and pork-free facility. We also offer vegetarian options to help meet specific dietary needs. Our teachers also incorporate food education into their lesson plans to promote the importance of healthy eating and proper nutrition. We serve organic milk that is locally sourced.
